1. Who we are
"Visconti Social Publisher" (the "Service") is an internal tool operated by Simone Visconti, marketing consultant, Italy ("we"). Data controller: Simone Visconti, info@simonevisconti.it.
The Service is not a public app. It is used only by us to manage social media accounts of our clients (the "Account Owners") under a service agreement, and only after the Account Owner has explicitly authorized it through the platform's official login (TikTok, Google/YouTube, LinkedIn).
2. Data we access
- Basic profile information returned by the platform (account ID, display name, avatar, username).
- Access tokens issued by the platform after authorization.
- Content that the Account Owner asks us to publish (videos, images, captions), and the list of content already published on the account.
- Statistics about the account and its content (e.g. views, likes, comments, shares, watch time), where the Account Owner granted that permission.
We do not access private messages, contacts or payment data, and we do not collect data about people who view or interact with the Account Owner's content beyond the aggregated statistics provided by the platform.
3. Why we use it
- To upload, publish and schedule content on the Account Owner's behalf.
- To produce performance reports for the Account Owner.
Legal basis: performance of the service agreement with the Account Owner (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and their consent given on the platform's authorization screen.
4. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share the data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or to train AI models. Data is sent only to the platform it comes from (e.g. a video is sent to TikTok to be published there). Reports are shared only with the Account Owner.
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Storage and security
Access tokens are stored encrypted, on devices under our exclusive control, and are never published or shared. Only Simone Visconti and his direct collaborators bound by confidentiality can use them.
6. Retention
We keep access tokens until the Account Owner revokes the authorization or the service agreement ends; then they are deleted within 30 days. Statistics included in reports are kept for the duration of the agreement.
7. Revoking access and your rights
The Account Owner can revoke access at any time from the platform settings (e.g. TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services permissions; Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions; LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services), or by writing to us. Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
8. Changes
We will publish any change on this page with a new date.
